WHAT IS MICROSUCTION?
Microsuction involves inserting a tube into the ear canal in order to remove the ear wax.
It is quick, safe and effective. Through the procedure we have full view of the ear canal and it is not necessary to use ear drops before having it performed.
It is significantly less messy than ear syringing as no water is used, and it is very safe and can be used to remove wax even if you have had a perforated ear drum, hearing loss, tinnitus, mastoid cavities or grommets in your ears.
Our specialist will inspect your ‘blocked ear/s’ using our advance Tympa system to decide on the most appropriate treatment for you.
Using Tympa means that if we find any abnormalities we can discuss these with an ENT Doctor immediately.
