Hazel Hayden - Founder, Nurse Consultant
With over 35 years of experience as a dedicated Nurse Practitioner, Hazel has made significant contributions to the fields of respiratory medicine, cardiology, acute care and women's health. Hazel began her career as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) in 1989 and worked in secondary care in respiratory medicine.
Hazel advancing to become a Nurse Manager in Out of Hours services at Brisdoc. In this role, Hazel excelled in assessing and managing acutely unwell patients, as well as managing a team of 18 Healthcare Professionals. Hazel used her clinical expertise and commitment to patient care to ensure that all team members were trained and qualified to offer excellent patient care.
Throughout her career, Hazel has balanced high-level responsibilities in both acute and general practice settings, with a particular focus on women's health. This diverse experience has been complemented by her qualifications as a Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) and a BMS Registered Specialist. Hazel's passion for preventive health and self-care education led to the founding of the Bristol Health Hub and the Bristol Menopause and Well Woman Clinic, where she continues to empower individuals to take control of their health.
Hazel's dedication is in improving patient outcomes and her work is driven by a deep commitment to educating people on how to care for themselves, fostering a healthier and more informed society.
Kim Jones - Operations Director
Kim Jones plays a pivotal role at our Health Hub, diligently overseeing the seamless operation of the clinic. With a strong focus on organizational efficiency and management, Kim ensures that every aspect of the clinic functions smoothly to provide optimal care and services to our patients.
Her expertise lies in streamlining processes, coordinating between departments, and maintaining a high standard of service delivery. Kim brings over a decade of experience in healthcare administration, combining her keen attention to detail with a passion for patient care. She is responsible for managing daily operations, from scheduling and resource allocation to regulatory compliance and patient satisfaction.
Kim’s dedication to the administrative aspects of the clinic is instrumental in creating a positive environment for both staff and patients. Her proactive approach to problem-solving and commitment to excellence help drive the overall success of our Health Hub.

Alex Gear - Nutritionist
Alex is a registered Nutritional Therapist, Naturopath and Health Coach. She trained in Nutrition and Naturopathy at the renowned The College of Naturopathic Medicine and is a member of The British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT) and The Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).
Alex is very passionate about helping people to feel their best through food and lifestyle. Alex knows what it’s like to juggle many balls and is very much in touch with the challenges people face in their everyday lives. Alex inspires and motivates people, yet her approach is a balanced and realistic one.
Alex has been involved in the food industry for over 20 years, but her underlying passion has always been about health and nutrition. It gives her great pleasure to help people to overcome their health issues so that they look and feel better. Having overcome her own health issues, Alex really understands how her clients feel when they first come to see her. Alex works very closely with her clients to ensure that they take positive steps to a healthier life. Clients often lack confidence and may often feel very daunted at the prospect of making changes, so she supports and guides them and gives them the tools to be able to maintain long-term health with renewed confidence and enthusiasm.
Alex combines her understanding, enthusiasm and passion with her love of food to help people to become the best versions of themselves. Alex follows the principles of Functional Medicine and so her aim is to get to the root cause of her clients’ issues. She treats everyone as an individual as we are all different and have different sets of circumstances. Alex is passionate about helping women look & feel amazing every day through midlife and beyond.
Jenna Young - Phlebotomist
& Trained Health Care Assistant
Jenna Young is a highly valued member of our medical team, serving as both a skilled phlebotomist and a trained health care assistant. With her dual expertise, Jenna brings a unique blend of technical precision and compassionate patient care to her work. Her proficiency in drawing blood and preparing specimens for testing is complemented by her broad experience in various aspects of patient support and clinical care.
As a trained health care assistant, Jenna is adept at providing holistic support to patients, from assisting with daily activities to helping manage patient flow in our facility. Her calm and reassuring presence helps create a comfortable environment, making every patient feel understood and cared for during their visit.
Jenna is known for her gentle touch and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring each procedure is safe, efficient, and as pain-free as possible. Her ability to connect with patients, combined with her strong commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety, makes her an invaluable asset to our team.
Tia Brown - Patient Care Coordinator

Tia is one of our patient care team members. Tia is known for her exceptional organisational skills and warm, welcoming manner. As a Patient Care Coordinator, she ensures every patient receives the highest level of attention and support from the moment they contact us. Her dedication to providing outstanding customer care is unmatched, making each interaction smooth, informative, and personal.
But Tia’s talents don’t stop there! She also serves as our Social Media Lead, where she shines by sharing valuable educational tools and resources to help our patients stay informed and empowered.
